Wenzhou Rail Transit Line S2 is the second municipal railway under construction in Wenzhou, starting from Xiatang Station in Yueqing City in the north and reaching Renmin Road Station in Ruian City in the south. Passing through Yueqing City, Dongtou District, Longwan District and Ruian City, running through Yueqing City, Oujiangkou New District, Longwan Airport, Southern Zhejiang Industrial Cluster and Ruian City, the route is roughly northeast-southwest. Trial operation is expected in 2023.
